Positive: I had the pleasure of staying at Luxury Stay - Parrot Nest and can't recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility. Located in an idyllic semi-rural setting in Welcome Bay, this charming private guesthouse is a true haven of peace, nestled in the heart of a beautiful, perfectly manicured garden. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by a warm, peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation is brand new, tastefully decorated and equipped with all the modern conveniences you need for a pleasant stay. The bedding is of the highest quality, the lounge is cosy, and the terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. The level of comfort is remarkable: air conditioning, TV with streaming services, an impressive bathroom with rain shower, double basin, bidet and customizable LED lighting - a rare luxury that deserves to be highlighted. What's more, the kitchenette is very well equipped. Another highlight is the impeccable cleanliness of the premises and the attention paid to every detail. Some breakfast items were even offered on arrival, a thoughtful gesture that adds a precious touch of hospitality. Finally, the location is ideal: close to Tauranga yet secluded from the hustle and bustle, guaranteeing calm and privacy. Positive: Perfect for couples. Spacious bathroom, nice decor, clean & tidy & had everything you needed. Lovely touches to the place, Christian was a wonderful host, very hospitable & provided homemade treats & a bottle of wine on arrival. Great outdoor area & garden even though we didn’t get to use it because of the wet weather.
Negative: Just the cats that belong to the owners. My partner is highly allergic and they are very friendly so like to hang around.
Summary: The weather was horrible however the stay was fantastic, due to the wonderful hosts and overall great place to stay.
